The Feel

Do they actually feel like grass?
Yes. Every pair has a real artificial grass footbed under your foot, not a printed pattern or a grass-textured rubber. It's soft, springy, and genuinely feels like you're standing on a lawn.

Isn't astroturf scratchy?
Not this grass. We use a soft-touch fibre designed for bare feet, not a football pitch. It's brushed and finished specifically for comfort against skin, so no scratchiness, no plastic feel.

Will my feet get itchy or sweaty?
Quite the opposite. The grass footbed lets air circulate freely around your feet, so they stay noticeably cooler and drier than in a solid rubber sole, even on warm days.

Sizing & Fit

How do I know my size?
Turfies run true to size. Each product page shows both the UK and EU size so you can match to your usual flip flop or sandal size. If you like to see a bit more grass peeking out the sides, sizing up works nicely too.

Care & Durability

Can I wear these in water?
They're built for wet feet at the pool, beach, or around the garden, but they're not designed for swimming (or scuba diving, though we admire the ambition).

How do I clean them?
Rinse with water and let them air dry. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals.

Will the grass wear down over time?
Like any lawn, your Turfies may need the occasional bit of gardening. The grass blades can fray at the edges with wear, but that's normal, not a fault. A quick trim with scissors keeps them looking sharp.

Why does the grass look flatter after wearing them?
That's your Turfies moulding to your foot shape, not damage. Artificial grass compresses with pressure and can be brushed back up, but a bit of settling in is actually a sign they're becoming your own.

Ordering & Delivery

Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the UK only. If you're outside the UK and want Turfies, get in touch at info@turfies.co.uk. We're tracking international interest and it'll help us decide where to expand next.

I'm part of the Grassroots Club, what does that mean?
You're one of the first people to wear Turfies and help shape what comes next. As one of our Grassroots members, your feedback will directly influence future versions of Turfies. We'll be in touch after you've had time to wear them, and we genuinely want to hear the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Sustainability

Are Turfies eco-friendly?
Our top priority for V2 is making our production chain genuinely sustainable. For now, we offset by removing a kilo of ocean plastic for every pair sold. We're working on more sustainable materials for future versions and will be upfront as that develops.

Returns & Exchanges

What's your returns policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return your Turfies for a refund. Returns are managed through our online returns portal, just enter your order details to get started.

Do you offer exchanges?
We don't currently offer exchanges. If you'd like a different size, please return your original pair for a refund and place a new order.

Can I return worn Turfies?
Turfies can be returned as long as they haven't been worn outdoors or show signs of wear beyond trying them on to check size and fit, much like trying on shoes in a shop. If they come back visibly worn, we may need to deduct from your refund.

What if my Turfies arrive faulty?
If there's a genuine manufacturing fault, contact us at info@turfies.co.uk and we'll happily refund or replace them.
